Nov. 5th, 2004 07:30 pmi like feeling good.
Today the first time we left the apartment was to take the dog for his run. But we were busy all day. Master worked on taking up the glue from the astro turf on the patio. He used the grinder, i swept. We cooked steaks on the grill and ate outside for the first time this season. The table hasn't even been out since lastspring. The weather was perfect. Had the a/c off all day long and the windows open. The floors are so dusty i am leaving trails where ever i walk, but it was a beautiful day.
Master has closed up the apartment and turned on the a/c, the refineries are going at it doubletime tonight, and the air smells like a cross between kerosene and lp gas.
Sarah is telling me about her catalogue shopping. She spent the day yesterday on the cctv looking through the Vermont Country Store catalogue. She isn't finished yet, but she says she is getting some good ideas.
i haven't heard from number 1 son since the move. i hope they are surviving.
i have to get up early tomorrow, to send Master off north, and to finish the marking. i made a mistake and did the girls' quizzes first. i don't see them until Tuesday. The boys i have tomorrow, and i'm only about half finished.
Max about lost his happy home this afternoon. He jerked one way on his lead as i was stepping another and i wrenched my knee. Now it is hot and swollen, and we couldn't go for our desert walk this afternoon. We have made a plan to walk in the desert every day during the eid holiday.
i am tired. i shall sleep well tonight.
