Master said the company He works for has taken all the empolyees out of the tower that is the target of the terrorists. i hope they don't get moved down here to our complex. That's about all we'd need. i'm amazed the company took the first step. Well we don't know if the employees called and complained and asked about hazardous duty pay. i wonder if it would work if i asked at the university for hazard pay? Doubt it.

We took the dog out to the desert this morning. Very early, before 7:00. It was beautiful. The dog had a great time. He loves being free and able to run where ever he wants. He trots along side the car for a bit and then takes off like a rabbit. If he gets too far ahead he stops and waits for us to catch up. If he gets too far behind, he races like the wind to catch us. One of the most beautiful things to watch on this earth is a happy healthy animal running. Tomorrow we are going to try the bike thing again. i hope i can ride. i realized that my hand is scrapped just where i lean on it on the handle grip. This should be interesting.

We ate dinner out on the balcony this evening. It was lovely. A bit humid all day today. In the day we couldn't see the pumping station but tonight at dinner we could see the lights. We sat out and talked and smoozed just like the 'old days'. i love that. And then He helped clean up so i could talk to Daughter. He is a good man.

i have one more load of clothes to wash, and then two to fold. i cleaned the knobs on the stove today, i haven't got the stomach for the oven. i think i'll ask Master if the cleaning woman can do it. i baked brownies for Master's lunches, made baking powder biscuits for dinner. We shampooed parts of the carpet near the doors and i've ironed my clothes for work tomorrow. i've had a busy day. i did get a chance to read a bit. And i've just finished talking to my daughter. And my son. My brother is coming in from CA to visit my mother for the weekend. He has business in Chicago and will be able to spend Saturday with her.

My son sent me a picture of my mother. He and his wife took her out last night. My son likes to sing Karaoke, and Mother has wanted to see him. So last night was the night. Son said she had her share of margarittas. Two. Just what i need a magaritta junkie for a parent. i'm happy my children like their grandparents so well to do things like this with them. i wonder if my grandchildren will want to do those kinds of things with me?

i'm done for tonight.
