jdmkleinIt's raining. It started just about the time we took the dog to the desert and it's still raining. This is the first rain since perhaps last April. i'm not positive, but i think the last time it rained we had a cloud burst and the street in front of our place flooded. Master and i got up and watched all the idiots who tried to drive through the 12 inches of water realy fast stall out their cars.
One thing neat about the rain here, is that it generally always comes with a great light show. i can sit on the balcony and watch the lightning out on the ocean. Very cool.
i have all the laundry done, and the house is pretty well picked up. Master and i discussed how to do about preparing for the move. He seems to think it will be easy. i have other thoughts. The cleaning woman is going to pack out the kitchen in two weeks. The living room and dining room are nearly packed. My dressing room with the clothes and stuff need to be done, but that will have to wait until closer to the time we move, and since we are staying in the same building, i can just carry the clothes over. i mentioned to Master this might be a good time to clean out His closet of some of His clothes (read ones that don't fit) but i think it went over his head.
We may not be able to take Max to the desert on weekends any more. Too many people. This afternoon Max took off full bore after an ATV. Not once, but twice. He chased the kid up over a hill, looked back at us as if to say, there, i've gotten rid of that pest, and came running back full tilt. A few minutes later the ATV came back, and Max took off again. i have no idea what the dog would do if he ever caught one. But he sure does like trying. He is fagged out on the 'dog' sofa now. Can't hardly move a muscle.
Master found more nail polish spots. Some got on my computer chair. Neither He nor i noticed until tonight. i don't know what is going to happen now. it is my chair. if i don't mind that it has some nail polish on it, i don't know why He should. But time will tell.
i am going to be starting out the week with a sore neck. i don't like the thought of that. i don't know what to do to keep the muscle from cramping up. i do know. A week in a health spa would do wonders. Massages, and jacuzzis, and relaxing music. Calgon, take me away.
