jdmkleinIt is now 7:55 pm. i have been at this computer for 12 hours with the exception of potty breaks, taking the dog out and a 20 minute dinner break. i didn't have breakfast or lunch. i have revisions to do for this chapter and it is taking longer than i expected. i'm doing artwork for it as well as the revising. i think/ hope i can finish tomorrow. i'd like one day of weekend this long one. i didn't even get to Max to the desert for the first time. Master said the dog was so much fun to watch. Max learned about sheep smells and goat smells and camel smells. He ran joyously for nearly 3 km. Those were Masters exact words...joyously. And i missed it.
On the way back from the desert Master got stopped by a police man. When He told me that i couldn't imagine why He would be stopped. And He wasn't angry about it. Then He said the officer just wanted to ask about Max. I keep telling everyone what a beautiful dog he is. It's true.
We turned off the a/c for a few hours early this morning. But by 10 we had to close the windows because it was getting too hot. Maybe we can open up again tomorrow.
The good news is.......MY BABY BOY HAS A NEW JOB!!! After all the wait, and the testing, and interviewing, he is going to start at John Deere on October 21. He is pleased. i told him i'm happy too, and sent my Christmas list. i told him i hope he is hired as a vice president in charge of something. My baby boy is 27, but he is my youngest and will always be my baby boy. Actually he is my only son, so i can say he is the best son i have. He makes me so proud. Gad i love that kid.
i know i rave on about my family. i am lucky. i know people who don't have the closeness with their families that i have with mine. Daughter is busy creating Christmas gifts. She is my best daughter in the world.
