out of the slump

jdmkleini'm about 1200 words short of where i should be, but i don't think i'm so far behind that i can't catch up this weekend. My problem has been that i know where i wanted to start, and i know where i want to end, but igot stuck in the middle. i couldn't make the start and the end meet up. So, i just skipped that middle section. i suppose it really isn't a novel if it doesn't have a middle, but it will be over the word limit. And perhaps if i get the end done, i'll have time to go back and work on the middle. Or, i'll put it away fora rainy day, and work on it at my leisure. This thing is becoming an old friend. i might have trouble getting rid of it.
