jdmkleinWe have had a very nice weekend. With two exceptions. Master had to go up north yesterday to take one of His workers back. He left the apartment about 5:30 in the morning. They had to be up there by 8, so the Brit could go to the dentist. The dentist at the camp stops taking patients at 10 am.; it's a walk-in type of thing. The camp is about 5 miles from the compound where Master lives during the week. They can't go from the accommodations to the camp without a convoy. There must be two vehicles, and two people in each vehicle, minimum. There are only five people at the compound. With the Brit not feeling well, and likely to be under the influence of drugs, Master thought it best to stay up there until the dentist thing was done. The dentist didn't show, so they were back about 8:30 to the accomodations. Then He got involved in paper work, then it was lunch time, and again the convoy thing. Master got home about 4:30. We had a day of not work and not together.
Today i made the grave mistake of calling the head of the language unit at the Nursing college. I should have just assumed what i know will happen to be true. She said i should come in to teach tomorrow, even though i know full well, if i get one student, it will be 200% more than any other class. It's not that i mind teaching, it's that i do mind the drive when i know no students will show. i know i won't get paid for it, and it gripes my cookies that i'm so darned responsible that i am going to do it. The bad news is, my car is in the shop. The good news is, Master is going to take me. i expect i will wait 10 minutes and then we shall be off to do whatever He has planned for the day. And if, as i know it will happen, no students show up tomorrow, i'm not going in on Wednesday.
i spent money today, and used my gift certs. i bought a moonstone and amythest bracelet, with moonstone earrings to match, a sweater coat,a belt and some edd ugh slippers. They sort of look like those boots the female lifeguards wore on "Babewatch" but not so high. Should keep my feeties nice and toasty.
i used the gift certs for clinique. i've had them for nearly a year. All this time i've thought i could only redeem that at the store where they were purchased. Duh! me. Well, now they are gone. So there isn't anything more to worry about them.
Master bought a new mother board, and some new cargo pants for work. Right now He's putting His computer back together. i'm going to take a bath.
P.S. Nice, unexpected sex this morning. i always like being the first thing Master slips into in the morning.
