jdmkleini came very near to throwing in the towel today. 35 students. Daniel has 55. No other teacher has that kind of course load. The excuse is we only teach 6 hrs/wk. The others teach 10. But they have only 2-3 hrs of grading each week. We have minimum of that much a day.
So, let me get the math on this....10 hrs contact time + 3 office hours + 3 hrs grading = 16 hrs.
6 hrs contact time + 3 office hours, +15 hrs grading =26. Yea, that seems equitable.
NOT!
