jdmkleinIt felt so good to sleep in Master's bed last night. For about 3 hours, then i woke up because it was only 6 p.m. in Iowa. Yuck.
The trip back was uneventful. Unless you count the fact that i had to wait nearly 30 min for Master because i got out of the terminal so quickly. My goodness He looked good last night. Absence certainly may or may not make the heart grow fonder, but it does make the memory grow hazy or the rememberee grow handsome.
Today was busy. Shera 'a, manicure, pedicure, pick up Maxioletti, find out i'm looking at a possibility of having 42 students in one class this semester. A research class. ARGH! There is a staff meeting scheduled for Sunday. i am going to strongly recommend that all teachers do 15 hours, one 10-hr class and 1 6-hr class cut back to five. i don't see a problem with it, although i can imagine most of the other teachers will complain. We have been spoiled but now we are really short staffed, and the time for being spoiled is over. Time will tell.
We had two new teachers coming, we thought last June. i don't know what happened to the man, but the woman backed out at the very last minute. She had her visa and her ticket and everyone thought she was coming this week, but she decided not. So, we lost one teacher and didn't get any new ones. i know how difficult it is to hire so i'm not going to complain about it too much, but Jamal MUST do something to alleviate the problems. Every other teacher has an overload too, but they are looking at 25/26 students. Daniel and i are looking at at 42. Tell me what is wrong with that picture.
