jdmkleini talked to the owner of the veterinary clinic we take Max to. Her first suggestion was to move and not comply with the order. She said we will probably never see the dog again. We took the official paper down and have it translated so we know exactly what we are dealing with. It says to present the animal for observation, it does not give a length of time, nor does it give an address, nor anyway to contact the Animal Control Center.
M said we should take Max's record down to the ACC and show the authorities that he has always been vaccinated and see how it develops. My feeling is the man trying to make us suffer as much as possible. When he brought the paper by he wouldn't looke at either Master or me. He said he has to go to the doctor every week for the next two weeks and then once every two weeks until August. i'm not sure i believe that. i mean i can understand being observed if there was some concern about whether Max were ill or not, but i showed him the vet book, Max just last week had his booster for all. i doubt if he will go, i really do think he is doing all this to be mean.
Tomorrow Master and i will go to the ACC with Max's papers. He will take me to work in the morning and then after work we will go directly there. It's close to my campus. As frustrated as i get with that darned dog, it is breaking my heart to think of losing him. On the other hand, even if we do get him back from the ACC, if the man talks badly about us, no one in the complex will like us, not that that bothers me all that much, however i am afraid of retaliation.
