Aug. 18th, 2004 11:24 pmSpent the day with my oldest friend. We have been best buddies since the 7th grade and i love her so very much.
We went out for lunch and then she and Sarah went shopping in a treasure chest type store while i went with Mother to her therapy session. i didn't know what to expect, and it's a good thing. The session didn't go as badly as it might have. i am still not sure what the purpose of my being there was, but it was something Mother wanted.
When we got back to the car, Sarah and Ellen were coming from a farmer's market. Ellen was clearly agitated. Sarah had had a seizure and Ellen was not prepared for it. She is a nurse and was ok with it, just not prepared. She has never seen Sarah in that state. After, when Sarah and i were down the basement putting in a load of laundry, i asked her is she was aware of what had happened. She figured it out, but doesn't remember. She just knows something happened.
We got home, unloaded the car, and then the four of us went to get henna'ed. The process is the same and i am accustomed to, but the product is different. The end result is very orange, not the dark dark brown i am used to. The artist is quite new, as a matter of fact my sister was his first customer. The shop just opened this afternoon. We all had fun. Mother got a sun on her left forearm, Sarah got some carnations around her right ankle. Ellen went all out, an bracelet around her ankle, a dragon fly above it, and a vine on her second toe up onto the top of her foot. We all got coupons for another one for free before December 31.
Tomorrow is the eye appointment. Sarah has to go drop off some papers for free transit rides, Mother is going to get her lisence renewed and new tags. i am going to lie to the DMV and tell them i have lost my driver's lisence, again.
