More things--emphasis on fussy
Jun. 24th, 2004 07:27 pm1. Master didn't go to Basra today. The company couldn't make the hook-up with the convoy. i'm not sad about that.
2. He did have a meeting today at noon to meet one of His new people. He got home about 2.
3. Now the Basra trip is maybe set for Saturday. Or Sunday. Or who knows when. This whole thing is making me feel very fussy. i'm sure i'll deal with it better once there is a routine, or His work begins to feel normal. Right now it just makes me feel fussy.
4. Got up to take the dog to the animal control center today for his last visit. The poops neglected to tell Him yesterday that the offices were closed for the weekend. We should have figured it ourselves, no ministries work weekends. But the vet said 'tomorrow' when He told Master to bring the papers. Tomorrow, to me, means the day after today. We took a 75 min round trip for nothing. BAH!
5. Of course now if Master does go to Basra on Saturday, Max will be going to school with me. That should be interesting. And that means no sheera'a on Saturday. But we won't know about any of this until we know about it. That is what makes me fussy.
6. The cat man brought up a brick layer today to reset the patio door. Now even with the door closed the wind won't whistle through.
7. i am depressed.
8. Sarah didn't meet with the counselor yesterday. The counselor had a crisis call so she postponed until tomorrow.
9. Sarah went to a funeral yesterday with her grandfather, uncle and two cousins. She does get to see the 'other' side of the family, much to Mother's chagrin.
10. It was HOT today. 117 was the high today. It felt about 112 when we walked the dog this early evening.
