i am better today. i guess the only way to explain it is that i need to go look over the edge a bit, then decide i don't want to be that way, step back, and get on with my life.

Two things i know for sure, He will come back or He won't. There is nothing i can do about either. Well, i suppose i can make Him want to come back to me, by being a bit less of a bitch, but for sure He is going to come back or He isn't.

And i will survive, no matter which it is. My life will be happier with the former not the latter. And that is the last i am going to say about it.

Tonight marked the end of dining on the patio for the summer. The air is dry and the wind is like a blast furnace. My glass of ice water didn't even sweat but Master and i did. The fresh bread became stale and hard between the door and the table.

We are getting things taken care of for when He goes. After depositing nearly one full months salary into my car over the past few days, it is almost in tip top condition. Am going to try to take it to the transmission man tomorrow morning before going into the office to have the transmission oil changed, and that should be about it for emerson.

Paid the internet people, and tried to get the dog his shots, but the vet is out of the serum. It keeps getting held up in customs. And, i find out there is no obedience training during the summer. Max has to be boarded while i am home, and since we got ripped off from the Kuwaiti trainer, we have decided to go with this vet. But training isn't going to start until after the middle of September. The kennel lost a military dog to heat exhaustion already this summer and the owner has flat out decided no more training until the weather turns. The office manager that i spoke with today is going to try to work an arrangement for us znd maybe even start the training a few weeks early. She is supposed to call me back with the info. And, the office girl is supposed to call me back when the vaccine is in.

Oh, and the fire boats were out again today. Practicing missing the burning ship. i haven't quite figured this one out yet. This time the fire boat was at least 300 yards away from the burning ship. Eventually a small boat came out of the marina and went straight to the burning ship and put out the fire. Master and i were wondering if maybe this was a drill for the life guards at the marina. Anyway, the burning boat is gone, the fire boat is gone, and the smaller boat that put out the fire is gone. The gulf is as smooth as glass. It is amazing how it can change from one day to the next.
