My best pervert friend is getting married on August 23. i am going to be the witness. i was talking with her tonight and she told me she is already having problems with her soon to be mother-in-law. Woowoo and West have been living together for nearly three years now, two years+ for sure. Mom-in-law does not want to attend the ceremony. Woowoo and West are getting married at home by a JP. Mom-in-law says things are ok the way they are. She won't come to the ceremony but she will go out for dinner after the ceremony is over. Mom-in-law is Jewish, apparently strong in her faith. Since the ceremony isn't she can't bring herself to attend. He says no problem, that's the way mothers can be and lets her talk it out. But she is a bit miffed by this. Up until the announcement of the date, Mom and Woowoo were fine. i forgot to tell her i had the same problem with my father's family when i got married. They couldn't come to the wedding because i was marrying out of the church and they couldn't help me commit a mortal sin. Five years later, however, they all did attend my sister's wedding. Feelings change.

The newly moved aren't online yet. They better rectify that soon. i miss talking to my best daughter.

Son and wife are on their big adventure. i'm keeping my fingers crossed the trip goes fine and they come home only a hundred or so over budget. i hope they take lots of pictures and have the sense to keep a trip journal. Another thing i forgot to tell him. i suppose i've jinxed the trip by hoping it goes ok.
