jdmkleinSarah got to spend money yesterday. Like it was going out of style. She got to get what she wanted, at good prices and didn't have to worry about not having money for the rest of the month. She was so tickled. She didn't buy anything extraordinary, a phone for her room and some new pj's. But she was so tickled. i love it when she's happy like that.
Today i got the rest of the research papers. There is a staff meeting on Monday so i have a week to finish grading. This is the hard part. i enjoy learning what the students have learned in their research journey, i just hate all the bad English. Oh, wait, i'm the teacher. What's wrong with this picture?
i ate some of the sweets the students brought to the end of semester party today. More sweet than i have eaten in a long long time. i have felt sick all afternoon and evening. Can't even get up a good desire for dinner. But if i don't get something in my stomach tonight yet, tomorrow i will be gnoshing on the blankets before i get out of bed. UGH!
Beautiful breeze this evening. The windows are open and the A/C is off. Master made a comment about sleeping on the patio tonight. Doubt that will happen, but it is a nice thought.
Auntie Nurse and spouse got a new to them car this weekend. Brother and his wife are in the fourth month of house renovation. They are remodelling the family room so they can get a retired greyhound. How many people do i know who would do that?
