May. 16th, 2004 07:46 pmi am about at the point where i want to look up bas words in arabic on the internet. i am so tired of feeling gritty, tasting dirt, and being hit by blowing sand i could scream. And the weather isn't helping my attitude any either.
i was supposed to invigilate for an exam yesterday, but was asked if it was ok to change and do it today. i said yes. i got to school 20 minutes before the exam only to find out the coordinator didn't know i'd be coming. She is the one who has been such a problem for me. So, i, being the nice person i am, go up to her and politely ask her where i should go to invigilate. She told me. i go to talk to the teacher of that class and am informed that there will be only 20 students in the room, and there is alreay one other invigilator, (univeristy requires 1 for every 10 students). PITA has 40 students and only 2 people, but rather than follow university procedure, she gaffs me off onto someone else. i had better things to do today at home. Dammitt! And it was a 55 minute drive for nothing. i stayed and graded the first three research papers. i have to go in again tomorrow, to collect the rest of them. And then not again until June 8 i think. And then summer school.
A small unintentional rant just happened. Bad julia, bad bad bad girl.
It's the weather.
