jdmkleinSarah is out with her uncle today, so i chatted a bit with Mother instead. i don't know why i let her get to me the way she does. ARGH!
We took shau dog to the desert today. He really enjoyed himself, and stayed right beside us all the way. After his run we drove away from the main road a bit, parked the car, and took a walk. We didn't go as far as we had intended, neither of us realized how strong the wind was. When we got back i was combing sand out of my hair.
i know i was busy all day long, but for the life of me, i can only recall a few of the things i did. Or maybe those few were all that i did, i just did them so slowly it took me all day.
We had waves of sand storms yesterday and into last night. For most of the day today it was clear and sunny at least i thought. i was out on the patio for a bit, and didn't notice the wind, but when we went for our desert walk, it was like walking into a wall. Just a few minutes ago i looked out and couldn't tell if i was looking at fog or dirty air. Two hours ago i could see the pumping station which is 7 miles out on the gulf. Now i can't even see the marina across the street from us. Some weather this.
i have the clie, now i am on a hunt to find a memory stick. i can take photos with the camera but i haven't been able to figure out how to download them onto my computer without the memory stick. Master stopped by a shop that has a sony sign but they didn't have a clue what He was talking about. Tomorrow we shall continue the treasure hunt. i know a pilot who flies regularly to Dubai. He said he will look there for one for me if i can't find one here.
We had marinaded veggies and pasta for dinner tonight. A made up in my mind recipe. It didn't turn out too badly. Even Master said it was a 'do-over' meal. He's not much on meatless meals, but sometimes i can slip one in on Him. i have to thank ragecarnuu for the idea. i also have to remember to ask him what the heck that nick means.
Tomorrow won't be an especially busy day, but it will be long. Master has said He will look for fish for dinner tomorrow night. He does blackened fish good.
i'm yawning i guess that means it's time to be done.
