jdmkleinMaster's plane arrived about 45 minutes late, which of course left me antsy. On the up side, because it was late, all the other planes that arrive about that same time had emptied, the baggage claim was empty, and His luggage came off the plane quickly. He got through immigration and customs with no waiting in line, so that He was out of the building and waiting for me fully 10 minutes before i got there. There was no traffic to speak of at the arrivals terminal so i didn't have to fight any car for a space. He put His luggage in the back seat and the trunk and we were back home before 12:30.
i am always amazed at the physical manifestation of His pleasure to see me after so many weeks.
We talked a good bit before we even went to bed, we sat out on the patio as soon as we got home and reveled at being together again. In bed, we talked for another nice long time. It was after 2 when i turned out the light. He was asleep before the room got dark. My slumber followed immediately.
i woke up about 5, but stayed in bed until 6:30, when dog let me know it was time to go out. About 9:45 i went in to check on Master, thinking i should wake Him so He can sleep tonight, but He was dead to the world, so i decided i'd give Him until 10:30. He came wandering into the front room about 10:25. A nap about noon, and another one about 3:30. He is trying to get awake enough go to the play tonight. As i write, He is heading toward the bed again.
He put the clie on to charge before we went into the bedroom, it had just over the minimum 4 hour charge on it when i got up this morning. i think i am really going to like it, but it is much more complicated than i expected. i could have done well with the less expensive model, although the pictures don't look too bad on the clie screen. As soon as i figure out how to download, i'll be able to tell more.
Learning to write on it comfortably is going to take some time. Right now my penmanship reminds me of Auntie Pie's in her last years. i can even make videos. i doubt that i ever will, but having the ability is a good thing, i guess. All in all i am most pleased. And it opens up the gift giving ethic to a whole new generation of ideas. Now Master says He wants one. i hope He doesn't try to take over mine. This is something that will be a bit difficult to share.
i had planned a nice meal on the patio this evening, but when i went out to set the table the weather had turned. Wind off the gulf, and quite humid. It happened in less than three minutes. Dinner is in the dining room tonight.
