jdmkleinWell sure, now that we are all primed and ready for obedience training, it has been put on hold for two weeks. The kennel is moving. Sheesh.
Max and i will have to practice alone for two weeks. By the time he gets back to class he will have heel and sit down pat.
The car also didn't get re-registered today. Faraj was afraid it wouldn't pass inspection because of the crack in the windsheild. So, he has arranged for a little wasta to be sent my way. Tomorrow i have to go into the office for Faraj to take emerson to a freind of Farooq's who will turn a blind eye to the crack. And it is only going to cost me 5 dinars. Can't beat a deal like that. Faraj doesn't want me to have to spend all that money to replace the windshhield just yet. The crack is a small one, and doesn't impair my driving vision. It's nice to have people who look out for you like that.
Today was an interesting weather day. It started out clear and cool. Then about 10:30 i began to feel grit on my desk at work, i had my office window open. i looked out and found Kuwait in the middle of a sand storm. i closed the window and got a rag to clean off my desk. About 12:00 i thought i heard thunder. i looked out and there was still sand in the air. About 12:30 i heard drops of rain hitting the roof of the building. i looked out there was still sand in the air. By 12:45 the air had cleared and my clean car was covered in mud. As was everyone else's. The rain combined with the sand to create mud falling from the sky. This is the first time i have actually seen this happen. Amazing. But now i have to clean my car again.
