jdmkleinWe finally have the patio finished. i have one chair to move, and then i have to figure out where to put the plants. We briefly discussed having a load of topsoil delivered, but i'm pretty sure the people downstairs would not appreciate having a roof that leaks. Master did also suggest a 'water feature' but i honestly don't see the need for that. If we are going to put water up here, let it be a hot tub, that's the water feature i want. Now if i can just get Him to finish that back room........
We went out shopping for new dishes today. Didn't find anything that really fits the bill. So, we didn't get anything. Went to the Sultan Center and didn't buy much, but spent a lot and now have a month's supply of garbage bags for the kitchen trash.
Master cooked a roast today. Lots of vegetables. Not the way i would cook it, but delish. Also had a spinach salad with balsamic vinegar that was a 'go again'.
Tomorrow is the Muslim New Year so Master has the day off. i'd say it isn't fair, but since this semester i'll always have Saturdays off, i best be keepin' my mouf shut. Wednesday is Liberation Day, and Thursday is National Day, so we will have Wednesday off this week too. There is a rumor that Saturday next week will be an added day off because Liberation Day is on the weekend. Those darned Kuwaitis! They sure do like their holidays.
