Don't tell the morality police, but......

jdmkleinWe had beer with our dinner tonight. Master smuggled in two bottles of German beer when we came home. Tonight we ate dinner on the patio, and enjoyed a glass of beer with the meal. Sometimes you just gotta break the law a little bit. But i didn't even feel guilty.
We went to the market early today, before it got busy. And that is about all that we did. Master puttered a bit on the patio and i sort of made the bed, and sort of started laundry. Mostly i watched tv. i was having shell shock, i have to go back to work tomorrow. boo hoo.
i got meat out of the freezer for dinner, and put it in the microwave to thaw. And to keep it away from the dog. Later on in the afternoon, i put a couple of potatoes in the mic to cook so i could make home fries for dinner. i set the steaks out on top of the mic and cooked the tatters. When they were done, i took them out, and forgot to put the meat back in. Max had a lovely meal. Too late, i realized what i had done and ran into the kitchen to save the steaks. Max was licking his chops, and trying not to look like the cat who ate the canary. i thought i would be in big trouble for this one, but Master, while not pleased by the event, said Max needs more meat on his bones, and if those steaks will help him, Master wouldn't be angry with either me or the dog.
Fortunately we had more steak in the freezer. i think that helped to asuage Master's temper too. He grilled the steaks, i home fried the potatoes, and made a salad using my new mandolin and we ate dinner and drank our beer on the patio.
Max got sick. Poor puppy dog, it appeared he swallowed both those steaks nearly whole.
