Dec. 30th, 2003 07:45 pmi got this is my email today:
Just a note to wish you a very "Happy Birthday". You are such a wonderful mother and you deserve the best so I hope you have an awesome day. I count my blessings every day that God gave me to you. You raised me well and gave me so many opportunities that most kids never get and I thank you. Every time I am around the kids I try to instill in them the same values that you taught me. You are the greatest.
Have a wonderful day today and if you are not otherwise occupied I will talk to you in my morning.
Love you,
Pat (a very grateful son)
In spite of me, he turned out to be such a neat guy.
Master took me out for dinner. i wanted to stay home and order in, but He insisted. We went to the little Thai place behind us. We had a nice, simple meal and i was ready to leave, when the waitress brought over a cake. Master had ordered one, stopped to pick it up on the way home from work today and dropped it off at the restaurant. Now i know why He was so persistent.
He is so sweet. And so thoughtful. He shames me because that is the 'girl' thing to be, and i am not. It's not that i wouldn't if i would think of it, but i never do. i'm late with cards all the time. I've stopped even trying to keep up. i know everyone's b'day, and i can mark it on my calendar and still not get a card.
He gave me a light box for my Italian glass and a new Johnny Lang cd.
