jdmkleinToday we had the first rain (call it mudstorm) since March of this year. We are just getting over a sandstorm and a little bit of rain cloud came in. The rain on campus barely got the pavement wet, but made all the cars in the parking lot look as if they had been in a mud bath. Less than 20 km away, there was over an inch of rain. i don't think it rained where i live. Who knew Kuwait was so big?
Tonight it was so nice, not beautiful and clear, but peaceful, we decided on a desert picnic. This is the first one we've had in the dark. We need to get a little coleman type lantern so we can see to eat. Max had a ball doing closer research on his desert. i love doing desert picnics. It's so quiet, and calm i can feel the tension of the day wash away, and a feeling of peace and contentment comes over me. Master feels the same way. It is good for us to do this.
Now it is time to talk to my family.
