jdmkleinYesterday was Daughter's b'day.We went to Montage for dinner and came back home for birthday pie. i think she had a good time. When we got home we set up her new dvd/vcr player so she could watch a new movie. It was so easy. i couldn't believe it. When i talked to Master i asked Him why our electronic stuff always makes me feel like an inept dolt who didn't have a degree in rocket science. He made some comment about His equipment all interfacing with each other or something to that effect. BAH! Give me sweet and simple any day.
Today i have to begin shopping for taking back. i went out looking for some shoes for work yesterday but at von Maur i was too late. The salesman said the store shipped back all it's out of season stock at the end of august. i don't know what kind of luck i'm going to have at Dillard's now.i'd like to get a couple of fall dresses for winter over there. The day i was shopping i must not have been in the mood for it because i couldn't find anything i liked.
Son gave Daughter two tickets to the Cattle Congress this weekend. i'm not looking forward to all that walking but i don't know who else will go with her. she just doesn't have any friends her age. All she ever sees is relatives. i just don't know how to get her to a place where she can meet people her own age and make friends.
