jdmkleinMaster's daughter's on-again-off-again wedding is on again. In a couple of weeks, when He is home.
This is the last week of classes, finals are at various times during the next week. i will come in on Thursday to be available for the last exam, while two other teachers proctor. i will not go out to lunch with them. i am trying to decide whether to tell them why or not.
Got a letter from a friend in Taiwan wanting to meet up with me this summer. Don't think it is going to happen, they leave the states before i get back.
Am feeling a bit defensive. There is a staff meeting on Wednesday. All year long i put out a call for agenda items. Not one comes back. This time there are more items than you can shake a stick at. Of course most all of them i have already put on the agenda, but somehow it irritates me that they think i am not being open with what is going on in the unit.
Had an applicant for a teaching position. Don't know what he was thinking, didn't have the same birthday on any two documents. i politely wrote and asked for clarification. Abrupt reply, " Application withdrawn." He was too old, and knew he was too old, and tried to pull a fast one. Did he think i wouldn't check his documents? WTF!
Stoopid dog likes to play bobbing for bottle caps in his water dish.
There has never been a semester made that was not three weeks too long.
i am not looking forward to teaching the summer course. Not looking forward to it at all. Even the money isn't enough to make me excited.
It is May. This is Kuwait. It should be HOT here now and it is only hot. What is this? And we've had another windshield storm. Just enough rain to make the windshield spotty from the dirty rain. In Kuwait this time of year, we don't have rain. The end must be near.
