jdmkleinToday is the first day of Master's vacation. We were rudely awakened by police cars with their sirens going passed our apartment. That was at 6:30 a.m. Not the late morning sleep in i had hoped for.
The apartment manager brought up another stove for us. The electric burner on the other one burned out and the oven was about 50 degrees off. The 'new' one seems to work. Master hodgepodged from our old one and the one the managers brought up so now we have a fairly decent cooker. So to inaugurate the new cooker i made a fairly decent meatloaf and baked potatoes. Mighty good i say. So did Master.
We shall be sleeping on fresh air dried sheets tonight. i love that also. We are watching an old Esther Williams movie. This morning we went out and ran some errands. Bought a new toaster too. Where did the day go?
It was so clear out today, i could see the painting on the boats in the gulf. The big tankers and the pleasure boats. The gulf was an amazing blue, at one point right in front of us, it was two colors at one time. And the dhows and the tugs and the tankers. i know that's an incomplete sentence but i seem to think that way alot recently. Incomplete thoughts.
i'm becoming nervous about Sunday, being the end of my contract and time for reassessing. No more contracts, He says. If i stay it will be the last decision i make on my own. i have been writing things down to discuss. i've been afraid to ask if He is doing the same. i have no idea what Sunday will bring. It may be that elephant in the livingroom for a few days. Who knows?
