jdmkleinIt was the first day of classes today. The actual day went fast, but the trip to campus took a whoopin' 90 minutes. That's never happened before without major auto accident. i've decided i'm going to leave when Master leaves in the mornings. i can go in and get some early quiet work and i'm going to stay until 2:30 or later because the traffic is so much less then. When i leave the campus at 2 i get home at the same time as i do when i leave the campus at 2:30, go figger.
The weather is beginning to change. It's been miserably humid for the past 24 hours, but today the temp only got up to 105. i'm told this is a sure sign of the season change. It will be humid for the next few days and then it will cool down noticeably. That will last a few weeks and then we'll have more humidity again and then another noticeable cool down. i'm told it happens 3 times and then we've got another season. It means there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but it is miserable while we get there. My glasses fog over when i walk out in the morning, and this is about the only time in Kuwait when one can see puddles under the window a/c units. Right now all our windows are wet with humidity.
It must be the full moon because the dog is crazy tonight. We had to take him out for a run early or he would not have lived to see 7:30. And now he's tossing and chasing his tug toy all over the computer room, which is not in any way to be considered large. It's either the phase of the moon, or Gary put some hallucinogenic drug on the bones he sent over for the dogs.
