jdmkleinAnd now i'm getting sad. i hate the thought of leaving my mother alone, but i know she will be fine. She got her first meals-on-wheels delivered today and we found information about senior transportation from HVAAA. i feel as if a great weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
Sister and i spent the day together. We went shopping and fed our shoe addiction. She bought four pair and so did i. Mine are all for work, though. Only one pair of hers is for work. We each bought a pair of 'Hildy' shoes. We are just too cool for words now.
After we ate lunch and had a few margaritas and talked about how Mother is doing, we decided to go to Tama to the casino. i figured i could afford to give another $20 to the Mesqwuaki Indians. But this time the surprise was on me. Playing a nickle machine i won $38.10. i put in a $20 and won 1142 nickles. It gets boring waiting for all the coins to fall from the machine. And your fingers sure do get dirty picking them up. Sister won $23. To celebrate we filled Mother's car with gas. Do we know how to do thing right or what?
