jdmkleinNot the worst of days nor the best of days. Filled with goods and bads.
The goods
*The weather was nice.
*Master got His passport back.
*He got a new visa.
*He got His plane ticket. He is good to go.
*i received an email from a student who didn't "know what to say" except that
she loved me. This is why i am a teacher.
*i received a plate of arabian sweets from two other girls today who wanted me
to know that they really liked being in my class. This is why i am a teacher.
*The policeman who came spoke English pretty well and was very kind.
*The officer at the police station was also very nice. He waived the 35 dinar fine. He also gave me the completed accident report right away. Master said He has never heard of that happening. Usually one must go back after about a week to get the completed, stamped report.
The bads
*i was closing the window in the car. Master's finger got caught.
*Right after that i had a minor akkident in the rental car.
*i had to call the police.
*i had to go to the station.
*i had to fill out an accident report form.
*i had to call the rental agency and explain it all. Am not sure what this is going to do to the rate.
*The whole thing totally discombobulated me. Master wouldn't let me drive.
*Master leaves tonight.
