jdmkleinSo, having Him home for three nights in a row isn't as much fun as i thought it would be. He's been sick. i mean really sick, not jhust the pretend, i don't want to do the stuff around the house kind. And, it appears, the men up north who work for Him have been sick too. This is not good. i wondered why He was so frustrated and short tempered so quickly yesterday when we were out running errands. Now i know. He has promised if He is not feeling better by Monday, He will come back to Kuwait and go to the doc at the military base. i am going to hold Him to it.
n other news, i have finished His winter house socks. Everyone is getting stockings from me this year.
i have heard from a former colleague who is now teaching in Mo. She is having a hard time making a go of it. If she hadn't saved a whopping amount while she was here, she would never have been able to buy her house. And fortunately she got tenure where she's working. That is so hard to do in this day. BIL would love to change schools, but he's tenured where he's at, and a check in the bank each month sure beats living off your savings.
My clie is working again. Will wonders never cease? And it didn't even take a laying on of hands. It isn't 100% yet, but maybe if i let it sit for another week or so, it will be. Who knows?
