Nov. 19th, 2004 07:40 pmi've taken a break from writing today. i just can't get involved in it. i can see where it's going, i just don't see how it's going to get there. It's sure going to take more than 50,000 words, which means either i'm rambling, not very focused, or i've got something bigger than i had planned.
Emerson is still in the shop. This presents no end of problems, the first being how i'm going to get to work in the morning. And from the nursing school to the uni and then home. The dopes at the garage aren't ansering their phone. That is their way of avoiding the issue. i wouldn't be so upset, except they've had the poor thing since a week ago yesterday. Master told them i had to have it Wednesday, but when they got it back together and took it for a test drive, it was making a whole new noise. So they had to take it apart again to see what they had done wrong. They assured Master it would be done last night. It wasn't. They told Him they were going to work on it today. We don't know if they have or not, because they aren't answering. It's a pretty certain thing that i won't have it by tomorow morning at 6:30. gah!
Master may have to spend a month in Baghdad. i'm happy about that....NOT!
Got the computer desk almost cleaned off today. Master has gotten side tracked several times.
i have to find something to wear tomorrow. i should have taken a nap today. The upstairs neighbor called yesterday to tell us he was having a party tonight. He promised it would quiet down by 12:30, 1:00 at the latest. Why couldn't he have the party on Thursday night? when most people don't have to get up the next morning at 5 am to go to work??? i can't really complain. He always calls to let us know. And he doesn't have them that often, but if memory serves, they are always on work nights. What'sup with that?
