Jul. 10th, 2004 06:06 amMaster came home yesterday afternoon. He brought one of his workers with, a Brit named Geoffery/Jeffery, never did ask the spelling. They don't know how long they will be here. Could go back today, may be here till Monday. Things at the warehouse are not in order yet and there is absolutely nothing for them to do. They can't process anything out, cuz there is nothing in it. They can't process anything in because the place is not secure, some of the bays don't have doors. There is no electricity, which means no lights, no computer, no a/c and there are no phonelines which means no internet to connect with the rest of the company and other warehouses. Apparently this was a rather ill-planned trip. Master is coping well,He sees it as an adventure, or puzzle to figure out. G/Jeff is not quite so amused.
They have been sleeping in a big room with 4 other guys making 8 in the room, the four from Kuwait and 4 military, a mixture of Brits and Americans. The soldiers are so young Master says. i bit my tongue. i am a good woman. The a/c in the place they are staying sucks, so last night Master and J/G went out to buy fans. Master bought a new phone. The food sucks, although Master did get some pork at a couple of meals. And He didn't score me any beer. But He said He's working on that.
