the other side of the two day work week
Mar. 8th, 2004 11:32 pmThis two-day work week thing is not panning out like i thought. i find i have so much time on my hands that i have taken on all manner of projects around the house that i am pressed for time to get them all done along with my regular cleaning chores. For half a second i was considering letting the cleaning woman go, but thankfully that bit of insanity left quickly.
Today i went to get my ticket for the conference. i spoke with the owner of the travel agency, a friend of Master's and asked about some part time work. As if i couldn't find enough to do at home, yea. She will get back to me. Maybe as soon as tomorrow night at the theater.
This afternoon Daniel came over and we wrote the paper our workshop is based on. Not bad if i do say so myself. If there is a published proceedings, and i am pretty sure there is, we should have it published. Now tomorrow i have to work on my section of the presentation. We have one hour. Generally it has been my experience that a workshop is 45 minutes, so that is nice, but we are going to be very very tight for time. Daniel will do most of the power point, and i will do the Q&A as well as the actual task. i enjoy working with him, but it has been a long day and i am tired.
