Dec. 23rd, 2003 08:40 pmNow is not a good time to get a migraine. i don't know why i suffer through them like i do, there are medications i can take that do work, but i never seem to remember. i have suffered with them for so long, i just don't think about them. Master got me some for the one i messed with all day today. It was supposed to be a pleasant day, instead it was marred by my forgetfulness. i took the pill, the headache was gone in 20 minutes. i am about 60$ poorer, but headache pain free.
i spent the morning baking cookies and getting pie dough ready for tomorrow's pies that Master is baking. Tomorrow afternoon i put the salad together and get the stuffing mixed. Pat called asking about the number of potatoes she thought we would need. The woman at the embassy fixed 120 for 70 soldiers for Thanksgiving. Pat has about 50. When they are gone, the soldiers will eat something else. They may not get as much as they want of a specific food, but if they go away hungry it will be their own fault.
A box arrived from my sister today. We were worried it might not make it. She had the written the address wrong. Master thought if the zip was correct it should get here, and by gum, it did. Along with a card.
Sarah is finishing up her christmas gifts to the niece and the nephew. And then she is done. They will have christmas dinner at Auntie Nurse's house and go over to Sarah's for presents. i forgot to ask it it would be a white christmas at their house.
It has gotten cold. We had the heat on last night. Even Master was cold, and that's about as normal as snow in Hawaii in July. Now my skin is dry and i itch all over. i shall have to start using lotion all over at night. i hate that feeling in bed. And the heat has made me tired.
