Nov. 23rd, 2003

This past two days has been one of the longest months of my life. We are waiting for Ramadan to be over, as are 97% of the muslim world. i don't think tomorrow will be the last day, but i have it on good authority that it will begin on Tuesday. That means a five-day weekend. Yippeeeee!

i wore a large bandage on my scraped knee yesterday because i wore pants to work. i know this sounds strange, but my knee must have sweat. The bandage kept the moisture in, and (this is really gross) the scab began to disintegrate and get all mooshy. Then the wound began to weep. i took the bandage off when i bathed last night, and Master went out and got some 'new skin' kind of thing to cover it for the night. i had to go to the clinic on campus today and have it looked at. The moral of this story is to not put any covering on a scraped knee. No matter how much it stretches and pulls and tears the scab. At least there is a scab.

i am no longer blonde.
