Not a stellar day
Oct. 9th, 2003 10:16 pmIn the food department, today. We went shopping and had a very nice day all in all. i got a new chair for my computer desk. It was on sale marked down nearly 30%. It has a lumbar something or other so i can adjust it to suit my back.
Then we stopped at a fancy garden furniture store just to see what they had. We ended up with a new patio table and 4 chairs, a glider with a cover, and a new chaise longue. They were delivered tonight just after 8 and the workers were gone before 9. The one good thing about this country is the delivery service from stores. Most days, it is same day. Master and i celebrated the new patio furniture by having 2 drinks and some chips at the table, and smooched and snuggled for a bit, a very little bit, on the glider. Tomorrow is breakfast on the patio at the new table. i love the stuff.
The bad news is that while we were out we decided to eat lunch out. i knew hardee's has a grilled chicke sandwich that i like, so He got a five star meal and a diet coke and i get the grilled chicken and diet. We shared the fries. i am way over my limit today for food. Even with a nice vegetarian salad, i am way over the limit. Add to that the butter i used to toast the croutons, and the two drinks, i'm afraid i won't lose anything this week and that will really depress me.
i will be very very careful tomorrow.
