this 'n' that
Sep. 23rd, 2003 07:16 pmIt's getting better by degrees each day. This morning i woke up at 4 and it's almost 7:30 and i haven't had any sleep yet. i might make it to 9:30 tonight. That would put me back nearly on schedule.
Today at work was marginally better too. It always is this way in the beginning. i did get a kick in the teeth today and am not sure how i'm going to deal with it yet. The one book i've ordered for this new course has been sent in two editions. The 10th edition and the 9th edition. Essentially the same information but different presentation and pagination. This is going to make coordination suck. And it looks like i am going to have a way oversize class. Why can't i just not teach like David did when he was here? Didn't matter to him what class size the teachers had as a long as his wife got a small one and he didn't have to teach. i am just too, too, ....... something, i don't know what.
It seems that Casa del Sol is a no go. The ticket isn't too bad, but the time spent travelling takes up the whole holiday. i asked Master if we could just make arrangements with my cousin to go visit during winter break. i suppose Cousin will have some business to attend to at that time and we won't be able to be together yet again. What is the use of having another family member overseas if you can't ever see him, i ask you?
i am going to wear a new dress to the office tomorrow, new shoes, new slip, and maybe even a new bra. i guess that means i should probably have clean hair too. i really want a bath, but i suppose i must shower. Makes hair washing so much easier.
