Sep. 5th, 2003 07:21 amMaster had the windows open in the morning for the last two days. Not all morning, just a couple hours in the early- but that's a sure sign the weather is changing. Still, it got up to about 120 in the afternoon, so it hasn't changed enough.
Daughter has an appointment with a counselor the day before i leave and that gives me some feelings of relief. She does not handle stress well and i feel i am part of the stress problem. She had two episodes yesterday. One was a bit deeper than the other and happened in the supermarket. They never last long, and no one notices unless you know what you are looking for. The counselor will talk to her and then assign her to someone who specializes in that particular area. i had hoped she could see one sooner, but this was the soonest she could get in. She is on a cancellation list so there is a chance she can get in sooner.
We also are going to get an application for the MET to stop at the house for her when she needs to go out on her on. Duh! me, i didn't ask for Mother too, but i'll call today and request another form. That can take about 3 weeks to get approved, but usually is done in less than one. Maybe i can get the application copied and do one for Mother at the same time as well.
