We took the dog out to the desert early early this morning, and then he went to the office with me for a minute. My secretary couldn't believe how big he'd gotten. Master had to work on Christmas day so He got today off.

The rain is coming back. The evening sky looked horrid. If i were living in a northen climate, i'd be scared of what was heading this way. The weather has changed, it has gotten colder again. If the sun is not going to shine again i think i will scream.

i just learned that my daughter's cat was put down on Monday. He was 18 years old. My daughter is sad, my sister is sad, she had him, i am sad. He was a huge cat in his prime, nearly 25 pounds. He thought about being many things in his life. He checked out being an electrician, but when the fireball came out of the light fixture, we had to peel him off the ceiling.

Then there was the time he considered being a dishwasher repairman, but he wanted only to work on maytags. He looked into photography once too, but got the boot when he tried to look up the photographer's skirt. i guess about the best thing he did was play milk ring hockey on the kitchen floor. And growl like a dog. And eat bones. Silly cat. i hope he's where interesting cats go.

My son got my daughter a saphire ring for Christmas. He hit her directly in the heart with that one. They had had some rough spots in the recent past. i think this marks the end of those spots. He hit me in the heart with that one too. i love those kids.
