Nov. 15th, 2002 08:21 pmi didn't get to talk to daughter tonight. i always get nervous when she doesn't make it online without letting me know before hand. She's an hour late. i know no news is good news, and i will just have to wait until tomorrow to find out what was the hold up, but i won't feel very well until i talk with her tomorrow.
We picnicked in the desert tonight. It was a bit chilly so we didn't stay long. But dog got a nice romp. We took his glow in the dark ball out so we could see it when we threw it for him to chase. He had a great time. i had fun watching him romp.
i guess Sundays are my day for sleep. Master let me sleep in while He took Max out for his first run. We ate breakie and then the power went out. There is maintenance on the building and while the workers were power washing the front, they must have gotten some power source wet. Neighbor called down to find out why and how long. Was told the Ministry of Power had to come out and check it so it would be about 2 hrs. Go figger, this is one time they were right. Power was back on in two hours.
Then i took a nap. Dog came up and stuck his nose in my eye two times to see if i was still alive. He's lucky he still has a nose. Master said dog did the same thing to Him while He was snoozin' in the computer room. Dog didn't nose His eye, but just stared at Him and blew through his nose. Master opened His eyes to see dog nostrils flaring. Egad, what a scare.
Master has the car fixed so i have to drive myself to work again. But He promised once Ramadan is over we can ride together. i really like that.
