jdmkleinHeard by various sheep, goats and camels today as we were taking our afternoon desert stroll: "It's a good thing we have lost weight otherwise we wouldn't be so aerodynamically sleek and would have trouble walking against this wind."
But honest to goodness, i gotta say, walking into the wind is a whole lot less painful than walking with the wind at my back.
i swam today. It wasn't as much fun today because Master didn't come down. But it was probably a good thing He didn't because it was cool today and windy, and the water hasn't been warm enough long enough to feel comfortable jumping in. A couple of sucked up breaths and i was comfortable, though. Until it was time to get out. Then the breeze made the goose bumps bump out.
i have about half of the summer course ready for copying. Just a few changes of dates on the syllabus, and correcting a few typos and i'll be set. Monday is the day the research projects are due, and then there is a week to grade. Then two weeks of bliss (read no work) until summer school starts.
Things are still up in the air, but there seems to be some hope of closure soon. i hate living in this tense atmosphere.
Mother's cat is diabetic. He needs shots twice a day. Mother went to the vet to learn how to do it. Seems this morning Buddy almost missed the injection, but Mother didn't. Auntie Nurse came over and gave her a quick tip. Slide the needle over the thumb as in shooting pool rather than under the thumb. Less danger of getting yourself instead of the patient.
i gotta tell the world. LMSG is one mighty good lookin' wommin. Mighty good lookin'.
