jdmkleinAnd the countdown begins. Today was the last day of classes. Final exams are next week. Grades are due the week after. Then student conferences and Exam boards and then School's! Out! for! the! Summer! 20 days. No more meetings, no more books, no more students' pleading looks!
The Daughter's doctor's appointment was just a hi/hello/how are you/ get to know the new doc checkup and because she needed scrips renewed. Phew! The Daughter talked to the My Mother the other day. A good time was had in California. Wonder if the Mother will ever manage to let me know?
Good news! Pants i bought just before Master came back in February, and didn't fit at all comfortably then, fit much mo'betta now. Still not good enough to wear with my shirt tucked in, but i'm on my way. The first positive evidence that the biking is working. Am not sure if i will ride tomorrow, but am shooting for a definite 60 minute trek on Friday. i think i am going to do a two day on/one day off regimine. Maybe the pool is warm enough, and i can begin swimming tomorrow. The temp today at 2:30 was about 93. Not too bad for May in Kuwait. Not this cool this time last year that's for sure. We are still eating out on the balcony and tonight we opened the house up and turned off the a/c. If it could stay this way until July, life would be excellent.
Tomorrow we are going looking for a bed for the guest room/dungeon. We are having an overnight guest soon, and she needs a place to sleep. The couch in the computer room folds out to a bed, but then we have to move it from one room to the other, and that is not nearly as easy as it sounds.
Master has a meeting with Doc. S on Saturday. i think she is going to be on His side about his sore shoulder and softball. Can't win 'em all i guess. Sure would be nice if i could win one or two a year though. She is also going to make a video for us for a listening activity for next semester. Cool!. She is an excellent person. i really like her alot.
Despite his arrogance and pomposity, i like the VDAA, too. i know i don't ever want to be on the wrong side of him, that would be a bad political move. Unless i am leaving the country for good in the following five minutes. i even like the Dean, which is a bit unusual, but then so am i.
It's virtual Friday night. No iron speaking to me tonight. Kewel!
