jdmkleinWe seem to be having very nice weekends. Today was another nice day of just being together doing things. We went to get some potting soil. This time we got the right stuff, says so on the bag. Got potting grond, for plants that are in apartments or on balconies. i guess we can't do any better than that, and yes, it is potting grond (no u). Then i got a new bath mat for my tub.
We took the video camera out with us today, too. We took video of the campus, the office, the free trade zone near the university. We got some flamingoes and Master thinks we may have a seal on one of the boats in the boat graveyard. i'm not a cinematographer by any stretch and i know the family will laff at the commentary, but i had fun. Of course the weather turned, but we were on our way home. And of course we forgot to take the camera out when we took the dog out.
Dog pulled a boner today. He stopped to pooch around and we got too far ahead of him. When he finally realized we weren't near by, Master thinks he couldn't see us. We could see him, and he was running in a hesitant sort of way. i think Master may be right about that, because you cold tell the instant Max spotted us. He put it into high gear and came beatin' feet straight at us. The look on his face was sort of like ...'Hey, did you guys know you were lost? But i found ya, ain't i good?' He stuck pretty close the rest of the trip. We cut it a bit short because he had done an all-out run to get to us. Master gave him a drink of water to clean off his tongue, so we could see what color it was, and so he could cool down, but Maxiemylettie didn't seem very interested in getting into the car just then. We walked him almost the rest of the usual run, stopped maybe 300 meters short of the normal stopping spot. Now, he's snoozin' as usual on his couch.
Tomorrow we are going to pot the plants, Master is going to fix my medicine chest and something else but i've forgotten. i hope tomorrow can be as good a day as today.
i'm talking with WooWoo about her wedding. That's the reason for the trip for Daughter and i. i think this will be her fourth stab at it. i hope it takes this time. They will have the jp come to their apartment, and then we will have cake and ice cream a la the hotel where he works, then we are going to take a dinner cruise. Then they want to spend the evening doing something really romantic, watching the video of Kuwait, the home movie. Did i tell you she is 68 and he is 60? And kink is their thing?
