i'm on a roll, three in a row not bad days. Today was really busy. Three hours of teaching, a meeting with the Vice Dean, an interview and then a student meeting. The meeting with the Vice Dean got usurped by the other VD and a scholarship student who can't seem to get into a qualified program to do his PhD. The VDSA just breezed in and took over my time. i am having a really difficult time trying to continue to like this man. Lately he has constantly been on my last nerve. His meeting with VDAA was quite stressful and that made my meeting with VDAA not so fun. i got what i needed but i felt as if i was piling trouble on trouble. Oh well, that is why he gets the big bucks.

On the way out to the desert with the dog today we saw the remains of an amazing accident. Two cars, a suburban and an SUV. The SUV is totalled, probably has a bent frame and not an unscratched part on the body. i don't imagine anyone died in the SUV. The suburban is another story entirely. i don't imagine anyone died in it either, but it is also totalled. The amazing thing about the accident is that the suburban ended up on a four foot median that divides the road down the middle. When the suburban hit the other vehicle it had to have flown into the air. The mediean is at least 4 feet high. if i knew how to add pictures to my entry i would put them in. It must have been an amazing accident. Sometimes Master and i try to make scenarios for these things. This one is beyond my imagination.
