THE 1st CAV is here
i saw some of them. Also saw some Brits, too. They only drive on the wrong side of the road when they are in the UK. i wonder if their vehicles have reversible steering wheels? Also saw some Huey's, but Master didn't recognize the insignia. Saw a cruiser on the Gulf too. Yesterday we saw a carrier, i think. And lots and lots of Kuwaiti police. They are escort for the convoys.
First class today. Seven students registered. Three showed up. Why am i not surprised. Two of the three are excellent students who for some reason or other, medical, marriage, baby, got behind in their studies. One, a real pain in the patoot and the only boy has already started bothering me. He's a real pest and i'm going to do my best to make him tow the line or git out.
Son is having a bit of eye surgery a week from tomorrow. Must be something in the iowa air that all my family have eye problems. A blocked tear duct, in and out, and back to work the next day. Mother will have more laser surgery in the next few weeks to clean up the cataract. Apparently it was quite bad and the doc isn't sure he got it all.
Took Max out for a walk this morning. We got in about 45 min. i like how i feel, but i hate that i have to go to bed so early. Pretty soon the early early mornings will be the only time i can ride because of the heat. And when it gets that warm it will also be much lighter. Master said i don't have to take Max out at night if i keep riding with him in the morning. i like that.
