Master may have fallen into a pot of gold today.
He has an Iraqi man He buys dvd's from. They are bootlegged for sure, but of good quality. Some day i hope to be able to see them. Today when He came back from up north He told me he bought some new dvds and a watch. Then He hauled out this humongous timepiece. It weighs nearly 1/2 pound, is big, ugly, has many little doohickies on the face, three winders, and a sweep second hand. The name on the face of the watch is Breitling. i thought it was one ugly piece of watch. Master said it didn't use a battery it keeps wound by the movement of the wearer. We laughed and had a good yuck about it. Also on the face of the watch it says For Bentley Motors. Master is on the internet now, becoming excited about His, perhaps, good fortune.
If this is a fake, it is a very good one. If it is real, the watch could be worth upwards of $6000. So far, everything He's checked on the watch has checked out. Maybe this is one of Saddam's old watches. i doubt it very much but it is fun to speculate. He is going to take the watch home with Him the next time He goes back and have it looked at by a watch maker. It has never been worn. There is still plastic covering the band. Or, perhaps it is stolen.
Yanno? That watch isn't lookin' nearly so ugly now.
A very special person paid me a high compliment today, it made a good day even better. Thank you.
